Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing hand-crafted cocktails from scratch
  • Serving high-end cocktails, beer, wine and food to guests in a timely and friendly manner in a fast paced environment
  • Mix and garnish beverages according to recipes and portion control standards set by Salsa 17
  •  Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations
  • Stock, prepare and maintain the bar to include beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice
  • Cut and ensure the quality of all fresh fruit garnishes as well as all fresh fruit juices and purees
  • Able to lift a minimum amount of 50lbs
  • Stand, bend, walk and work in confined area for extended periods of time
  • Open the bar
  • Breakdown, clean and restock all areas, machinery and utensils used behind the bar
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include but not limited to point-of- sale system, handling money, processing credit/debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers

Job Description:

  •  The Bartender hand crafts beverages according to Salsa 17 recipes, assists customers in making food and beverage selections, and takes and rings in orders. The Bartender is responsible for all aspects of the bar area including, but not limited to setting up and stocking product for each shift, maintaining storage areas, cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all equipment, utensils and tools.

Job Description:

  •  The Host greets each and every guest in with enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival. They are responsible for our reservations and seating systems and enthusiastically communicating accurate information to our guests. The host also shows guests to their table, provides menus, prepares tables throughout service, receives, enters and delivers carryout orders to guests, and bids guests farewell as they leave. Overall, the host is instrumental in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for each and every one of our guests.


  •  Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive. 
  •  Must be at least 17 years of age. 
  •  Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills. 
  •  Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time. 
  •  Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. 
  •  Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  •  Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone while responding to a wide range of queries. 
  •  Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays. 
  •  Ability to receive, process and package perfect take-out orders
  •  Ability to handle cash and make change
  •  Basic mathematical skills.
